We are out at Plot No. T-7 in the MIDC Industrial Area in Taloja. It is part of the Raigad district, so it’s a bit of a trek from the main city areas. Being in an industrial zone means there is a lot of space, which we need for the glass. The facility is large and mostly filled with glass sheets and big crates. It’s a very practical environment. We have trucks coming in and out at all hours of the day to load or unload. The air is often filled with the sound of forklifts and the clinking of glass being moved carefully. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for a casual meeting. We all wear our work gear and spend most of our time on the floor or in the small office area near the front gate. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoons, making it pretty warm inside, so we keep the fans going. It’s a straightforward operation where the focus is just on handling the materials safely and getting them shipped to where they need to go. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of inventory. We’ve been at this Taloja location for quite some time now and it suits what we do.
