Naturewadi Adventure Camping Site

Out here in Karjat, specifically at the Naturewadi Adventure Camping Site, things are mostly quiet until the weekends hit. We are located in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, and you can really feel the difference in the air once you get away from the city. The ground is a bit uneven in places because that is just how the land is. We spend a lot of our time checking the tents and making sure the ropes are tight enough so nothing blows over if the wind picks up. There is a lot of green around us, especially after the rains, though the mud can be a bit of a mess to deal with. We usually have a small fire going when the sun goes down, and people just sit around on plastic chairs or whatever is available. It is not a five-star hotel by any means. Sometimes the bugs are out and you have to remind everyone to bring their spray. We have been working on the paths, trying to clear away the bigger rocks so nobody trips in the dark. Life here is slow. We wake up early to the sound of birds and start getting the breakfast stuff ready. It is mostly just about being outside and seeing the stars when it is clear enough. The address says 410201 for the pin code, but out here, we mostly go by the landmarks and the trees.
