Tuljai Hi-Tech Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Kohali, a village in the Hadgaon area of Nanded. You can find us care of Shri Gunaji Sambhaji. We called ourselves Tuljai Hi-Tech Farmer Producer Company Limited because we wanted to see if we could use some newer methods to help our local farms. Nanded is a place with a lot of history, and farming has always been the main thing people do here. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our files and meet up when the sun gets too hot. We aren't professional businessmen. We are just farmers who are trying to figure out the best way to get our produce to the right people. Shri Gunaji Sambhaji’s place is where the main decisions happen. It’s usually a lot of talking over tea. We discuss the rains, the quality of the cotton or grain, and how to deal with the middleman. It’s not always easy to agree on everything. We have different opinions on what to plant and when to sell. But we stay together because it’s better than being on your own. We don't have any polished speeches or marketing tricks. Our English is basic, and our focus is on the ground. We just want to use whatever tech we can find to make the work a bit lighter. It’s a local effort by people who have lived in Kohali their whole lives. We are just trying to keep the traditions alive while doing something new to help the village.
