Rooftop Farming India Private Limited is based out of a flat in Sector 20, Raigarh. Specifically, we are in Flat A-101 at Plot 14/15. It’s a quiet enough area in Maharashtra, and it works for what we need. We spend a lot of our time thinking about how to use the tops of buildings to grow things. Since space is getting tighter everywhere, we figured rooftops are the way to go. It isn't always easy, as you have to worry about water and the sun, but we enjoy the challenge. There are a few of us working here, mostly just handling the day-to-day tasks that come with running a small farming business in the city. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just like the idea of fresh greens growing where you wouldn't expect them. Sometimes we have meetings in the living room area because it’s more comfortable than a stiff boardroom. Raigarh has its own pace, and we try to keep up with it without getting too stressed. People around here know us as the ones always talking about dirt and seeds on roofs. It’s a practical way to spend the time. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just trying to make better use of the space we already have. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. One of us is usually around if the gate is open, so it's a pretty open environment for the team.
