Ryrie Farmer Producer Company Limited

Over in Karjat, specifically in the Nimgaon Daku area, we started Ryrie Farmer Producer Company Limited. It is a quiet part of the world, and most of us have lived here our whole lives. We decided to come together as a group because farming on your own can be a real struggle sometimes. We don't have a big office building with a sign that lights up. We just use a local space where we can gather and talk. Usually, you will find us discussing the price of diesel or the state of the local roads. We are just regular farmers who wanted to have a bit more say in how our produce is handled. There is nothing fancy about how we operate. We use what we have and try to make the most of it. Karjat is a beautiful place, but the work is hard and the sun can be brutal. We support each other when someone’s equipment breaks down or when the market isn't looking good. It’s a community thing more than a business thing, really. We don't have any polished speeches prepared. If you want to know what we do, you just have to look at the fields around Nimgaon Daku. That is where all the real work happens anyway. The company is just the paperwork side of our daily lives, helping us stay organized so we can keep doing what we love for many years to come.
