Shrivardhan Taluka Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated at Shop Number 5 in the Kundan Residency, located in the Arathi Post area. This part of the country has its own rhythm, and we try to stick to it. Our shop is a small place where we manage the affairs of the farmers in the Shrivardhan taluka. Most of what we do involves coordinating the local harvest and finding buyers who won't underpay. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of money; we are just a small group that decided to work together. The office at Kundan Residency is where we keep our books and meet with the members. There are no big meetings with presentations, just people sitting around a table trying to solve everyday problems. We just show up every day, open the shop, and do the work that needs to be done. It’s about making sure that the people who grow the food actually get to keep some of the profit. It’s a slow process, but we are okay with that.
