Tarangan Women Farmer Producer Company Limited

Tarangan Women Farmer Producer Company Limited is what we call our little organization here in Kokangaon. We are located at Shri Ankush Chavan’s place in the Talkarjat district, pin 414402. It’s a group of women from the village who are tired of doing everything separately. We meet up at the house to talk about our crops and how we can do better this season. Kokangaon is a quiet place, and most of us have been farming here since we were kids. We know the dirt and the seasons better than anything else. When we get together at Ankush’s place, it’s a mix of work and just catching up. We don't use any big words or have complicated plans. It’s just about making sure we can sell our stuff and have enough for next year. Sometimes the market is good, and sometimes it isn’t, but at least we are together now. It’s not a polished business with a receptionist or anything. It’s just us, sitting on mats and going through our notes. The kids are usually running around while we talk. We are just trying to make a living from the land we’ve always known. Karjat is our home, and we want to see our farms do well. It takes a lot of effort, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have any big goals written on the wall, just a shared hope for a good harvest.
