Mangaon Taluka Farmer Producer Company Limited is set up right on the Mumbai Goa Highway. We are in the Khandad area, specifically at garage number A-9 in the Motiram Plaza. Being near the highway means there is always a lot of noise and trucks passing by, which keeps things interesting. It is a practical spot for us because it is easy for people to find when they are traveling through the taluka. The office is tucked into the plaza, and we use the space to coordinate with the local growers. Since we are in the Raigad district, we see a lot of different types of farming depending on the rain. The monsoon can be quite heavy here, making the highway a bit of a mess, but we still show up and get the work done. We aren't about fancy meetings or big presentations. Most of our time is spent talking to the guys who are actually out in the fields. We keep our files in the back and have a couple of desks for when we need to write things down. It is a bit cramped sometimes when many people show up at once, but we make it work. Living and working in Mangaon means you get used to the humidity and the pace of life here. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to be useful to the farming community in our own small way. It keeps us quite busy.
