Kunbi Hitech Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at House No 4935 in Murud. It is really just a bunch of us from around the Murud area who decided to get together and see if we could make farming work better for everyone involved. We’ve all been working these fields for years. It got to the point where doing everything solo was just getting too hard and expensive. Our office is a simple place, nothing special to look at. You will mostly find us out in the dirt rather than sitting behind a desk. We deal with the usual crops that grow in this soil. It hasn't been easy learning the business side of things. There’s a lot of paperwork and rules that we weren't used to. But we are helping each other out. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and the harvest is thin, but that is just how it goes in Murud. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just want to make sure the local farmers here can get their produce to market without getting a bad deal. It’s a lot of long days and hard work, but we are used to that. If you come by the house, you’ll probably see us talking about the next planting or how the rain is looking. We’re just regular people trying to keep our community going one season at a time.
