We run Bijamrut Farmer Producer Company Limited from House Number 39 in Shiloshi. This is in the Roha taluka of the Raigarh district. It is a beautiful part of Maharashtra with a lot of greenery, but farming here still has its challenges like anywhere else. The address is the home of Bharat Ram Patil. We use this spot as our main base for organizing what we do. We are just a bunch of local farmers from Shiloshi and nearby who thought it was a good idea to pool our resources. Raigarh gets a lot of rain during the monsoon, so we spend a lot of time planning around that. We are not interested in sounding like some big city business with a lot of fancy words. We just talk about the things that matter to us, like soil health and getting our products to the market without losing money. When people come by House Number 39, they usually find us sitting around talking about the next season or checking on some supplies. It is a very informal environment. We prefer doing things the simple way. We do not have any big plans to expand or become a huge corporation. We just want to take care of our own land and help our fellow farmers in Roha get by. It is a quiet life in Shiloshi, and we like it that way. We just keep working and hope for a good harvest every year.
