We are based over in Rashin at house number 466. Vishwanath Ramchandra Andalkar’s place is where we set things up originally. Being in Karjat taluka, we mostly work with the local farmers around here. It started because a few of us wanted to get the fish and farming side of things organized better. It’s not a fancy office, just a group of people trying to make the work easier for everyone involved. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, but we keep going. We handle the day-to-day stuff that comes with being a producer company. Most days involve a lot of talk about crops and water. The name is a bit of a mouthful, Aquapreneurial Farmers Producer Companylimited, but the goal is simple enough. We just want to make sure the work we do in this part of Karjat actually gets somewhere. There are a lot of us working together now. It is a lot of paperwork sometimes, more than I’d like. But being right here in Rashin helps us stay close to the fields and the water. We don't have a big staff or anything, just the regulars who know the land. If you are looking for us, we are just past the main part of the village. It’s a busy life but it is what we know. We spend most of our time out and about, not sitting behind desks all day long. That's just how it is here in our small corner of the world. We don't have much to say about ourselves other than we work hard.
