Baiswara Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in a place called Naseer Pur Ambara Paschimuttaragauri. It is a long address in Raebareli, but that is where we belong. We are a group of farmers who decided to stop working entirely on our own and start working together. It’s a lot easier to deal with the big buyers when you are a group. We don't have a fancy headquarters. Our office is just a simple building in the village where we keep our files and meet up. 229206 is the pin code. Most of our meetings happen in the late afternoon once the work in the fields is done. We sit around, have some tea, and talk about what seeds we need or which market is giving the best price for wheat or rice. It’s a very local effort. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a mission statement. We just want to make a decent living from our land. Raebareli is our home and we know the soil here well. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and things get tough, but being a producer company gives us a bit more strength. We are just normal people who spend our days in the sun and our evenings trying to figure out the company paperwork. It’s honest, practical work and we just take it one day at a time.
