We are over here in Lalganj, Raebareli, operating out of Ramendra Singh's place. Brijesh Chandra Singh Semri Producer Company Limited is mostly just a group of us from around the Semri area trying to manage our farming work better together. It gets busy during harvest time. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just the space we use in town to get things sorted out. Most days it’s about figuring out where the supplies are coming from or who needs help with their crops this week. Being in Uttar Pradesh, the weather is always on our minds. We started this because it made sense for the local farmers to have a bit more say in how things go. There's plenty of hard work involved and usually, someone is dropping by to talk about the latest prices or seeds. It’s a simple setup. We know the people around here and they know us. Sometimes we’re out in the fields and other times we’re sitting around at the 229211 address trying to keep the paperwork straight. It’s not always easy but we keep moving. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. If you’re passing through Lalganj, you’ll find us there doing what needs to be done for the season. We just take it day by day and try to keep things running for everyone involved in the company. It's a lot of talking to neighbors and making sure the storage is ready when it needs to be.
