Shitanshi Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Raebareli, specifically in the Thakurpur area of Khanpurkhush. We are over at Vishwa Narayan’s place in Lalganj Kheero. It is a quiet spot, mostly just us and the local farmers coming by to talk shop. The roads can be a bit bumpy getting here, but it is home for us. We deal with agricultural stuff every day, focusing on what the land gives us. It’s not always easy work, especially when the rains don't come on time or the market prices change on us. We don't spend much time sitting in chairs; most of the work is on the ground. We decided to form this company to stay organized and maybe help get a better handle on the supplies we need for the season. Raebareli is a good place to farm, but you have to know what you are doing. We’ve all been doing this for years, so it felt natural to just put a name on it and keep going as a group. If you walk by, you’ll probably see us unloading bags or checking on the equipment. There is always something that needs fixing or someone to chat with about the upcoming crops. We keep things pretty simple and don’t bother with big speeches or polished ads. We are just local people working the dirt and trying to get by. Most of our time is spent just making sure the next season is ready to go.
