Bhawanigarh Farmer Producer Company Limited

Over here in Raebareli, specifically in the Pureshivdayal Kheda area near Dhodhwa, we run the Bhawanigarh Farmer Producer Company Limited. It’s located at Rajesh Kumar’s place. If you come looking for us, you have to ask for the house near the old MRG road. It is just a normal village setting with cows nearby and the smell of hay in the air. We are not a big corporation with fancy slogans or anything like that. We are just a group of local farmers who decided to pool our resources together so we don't get squeezed by the middlemen too much when it comes time to sell our harvest. Some days are very quiet, especially when everyone is out in the fields during harvest time. Then, other days, the porch is full of people complaining about the rain or how the tractor broke down again. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to make sure everyone gets their fair share when the produce is finally sold at the market. Raebareli can be tough for farming if the monsoon isn’t right, so we spend a lot of time worrying about the sky and checking the clouds. We handle a bit of everything that grows around here. It’s mostly just hard work and a lot of tea while we figure out the transport. We don't have any big plans to take over the world, we just want to keep the village business moving along.
