Yash Mandap Decorators

Yash Mandap Decorators is based in Hadapsar at spots 42 and 43. We have been doing this for years, and our days are usually spent handling heavy bamboo poles, bundles of colorful cloth, and hundreds of folded chairs. The warehouse is a bit of a maze with all the stuff we need for weddings and local functions. During the season, we are barely ever at the shop because we are out on the grounds setting up stages or fixing the lights. It is hard work, especially when we have to load everything onto the tempo in the middle of the night or under the hot afternoon sun in Hadapsar. We are often sweating and tired, but the work has to get done before the guests arrive. Our curtains and carpets have been through many events, and we spend a lot of time cleaning them or sewing up small tears. It is not just about the big tents; we also have to look after the small things like the pedestals and the flower stands. The shop itself is just a place to store everything and talk to people about what they need for their parties. We don't have a big staff, so everyone chips in with the lifting and the climbing. It is a busy life, and we are usually the last ones to leave a party after everyone else has gone home.
