Vaishnavi Decorators

You can find Vaishnavi Decorators over at the Wakad S P Road Cross. It’s a spot that stays pretty active because of the crossroads nearby. We spend a lot of our time surrounded by rolls of fabric, stacks of chairs, and all sorts of decorative bits and pieces. This isn't one of those high-end design studios. It’s a workshop where we actually put things together. The floor is usually covered in snippets of ribbon or bits of wire because we are always preparing for the next event. When things get busy, the whole place looks like a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. The S P Road traffic is right there, so there's always a hum of engines while we work. We don't spend much time sitting down. Usually, we are loading up the van or checking the inventory to see if we have enough lights or drapes for the weekend. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving heavy frames and climbing up and down. We talk to a lot of families who are planning stuff, and we just tell them what we have in the back. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve been in this Wakad neighborhood for a while, and people just know to drop by the cross when they need something set up. It’s just us doing our thing every day, trying to stay organized amidst all the fabric and poles.
