Vaishnavi Decorators & Mandap

We operate out of the Wakad Rahatni Area. Our work is mostly outdoors, setting up for different events around town. We have a lot of metal poles, thick wooden planks, and large rolls of fabric stored in our space. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes because things come and go so quickly. When there is a wedding or a function, we load everything onto a tempo and head out. We spend hours hammering things into place and tying knots to make sure the tents stay up. It is physical work and we often get home quite late. The sun can be very harsh when we are working in open grounds. Our clothes are usually stained with a bit of dirt or paint. We don't have an office with air conditioning. We just meet people at the site or they come find us here in Rahatni. We’ve done setups for small family gatherings and some larger ones too. We just use what we have and make it look as tidy as possible. Sometimes the fabric gets a tear and we have to stitch it up quickly. It’s a busy life during the season, but we take it as it comes. We’ve been doing this for years, so we know how to handle the heavy stuff without much fuss. We don't use fancy brochures to show our work, people just see what we do at the local events and call us.
