Rock & Water International

At Rock & Water International, we work out of a space in Sadashiv Peth on 1st Main, number 1473. The name might sound like we are a giant global company, but we are actually a pretty small team working out of this one simple office. Sadashiv Peth is a traditional part of the city, so you see a lot of old houses and small local businesses like ours on every street. We spend our time managing orders and talking to people on the phone throughout the day. The office at 1473 is often full of paperwork and samples of the various things we handle. It can get a bit messy during the busy months of the year, but we generally know where everything is kept. We do not have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People who come to see us usually just walk straight into the work area and pull up a chair. We like it that way because it keeps things honest and direct. We have been at this location on 1st Main for a long while, and we have gotten very used to the rhythm of the street outside. Sometimes we stop for a cup of tea at the stall nearby and chat with the neighbors for a few minutes. We are not trying to change the world; we just want to run a decent business and keep people happy. It is a lot of mundane tasks, like checking lists and making sure deliveries go out.
