Our place is in Nilgiri Apartment over in Erandwane. The address is 42A/1B on Kare Road. It is more of a residential-looking area, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a typical tech hub or industrial estate. We deal with electronics, mostly the small parts and pieces that go into much bigger machines. The office is a bit tucked away, so people sometimes miss the turn off Kare Road when they first visit. It is a quiet building for the most part, which helps us focus. We have a few rooms filled with components, wires, and various testing equipment. It is not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a coffee bar. You walk in and you are basically standing in the middle of our workspace. We have been working here for many years now, and the team is quite small. We know our regulars very well. Sometimes we sit around the main table and talk about how much the technology has changed since we first started out. We don't put on a show for anyone who walks through the door. If you need a specific electronic part, we just check the bins and see if we have it in stock. Most of our day is spent looking at circuit boards or talking to suppliers on the phone. It is a bit messy with all the boxes around, but it feels real to us. We just do our thing every day.
