Vinayak Traders

Located at Sinhagad Road, specifically 9th Cross 4th Main HAL 3rd Stage 35, our place is usually full of boxes and the smell of packing tape. We deal with a lot of different items as traders. Some days it is mostly supplies for local shops, other days it is larger orders going further out to other parts of the city. The space inside is mostly taken up by inventory. We have a small desk near the door where we keep the ledger and the phone. It rings quite a bit during the morning hours. My brother handles most of the incoming shipments while I talk to the people coming in. We don't have a big sign or any bright advertisements out front. People find us because we’ve been here at this spot for years. The stairs leading up are a bit narrow, so moving heavy crates can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We try to keep the inventory moving fast so nothing sits around gathering dust for too long. If the delivery truck is late, it throws off the whole afternoon, but that’s just the nature of this business. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the next load to arrive. Vinayak Traders is a practical operation, nothing more. We focus on the numbers and making sure the crates are full and the addresses are correct. It’s just how we make a living and we’ve been doing it a long time.
