Vedant Decorators

Our shop is tucked away in Ghorpade Peth. If you know the area near Mali Maskati Hospital, you’ll find us in Gali 617. We are very close to the Khadak Ganpati Mandir, so we hear the temple bells quite often. Vedant Decorators has been part of this lane for a long time. It’s a busy little spot. We have fabrics and poles leaning against the walls most days. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much gear for the local functions. My uncle started this, and now we just keep it moving. We don’t have a website with fancy photos. Most people just walk in or call us because they saw our work at a neighbor's wedding. The street is narrow, so loading the van is always a bit of a struggle. We have to time it right so we don't block the whole road. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy frames and climbing ladders. We drink a lot of tea from the stall at the corner. The rainy season is usually our slow time, so we fix the equipment then. We aren't some big event planning agency. We are just local decorators who know how to put up a decent tent. People in the Peth know us by name. We just try to be helpful and get the job done without any fuss or drama. It’s how we’ve always done it here in this little part of town.
