Tejas Trading Co.

Tejas Trading Co. is found at Plot No. 7/217 in the Chatrapati Shahu Bhaji area. We are right in the middle of the Market Yard in Raviwar Peth. If you have ever been to the market yard, you know it’s a chaotic place. There are trucks everywhere and people shouting prices since early morning. Our unit is just one of many in the row. We have a lot of bags and crates stacked up high. It’s not the cleanest or the most organized place, but we know where everything is. We do trading, mostly in bulk items that come through the market. The floor is made of rough concrete and we spend most of the day on our feet. We do not have air conditioning or fancy chairs. Just a small wooden desk where we keep our ledgers. We have been in Raviwar Peth for a long time and have seen many businesses come and go. We stay because we know the rhythm of the market. We do not have any corporate goals or mission statements. We just want to buy and sell at fair prices so we can come back tomorrow and do it again. It’s a loud, dusty, and busy life, but it suits us just fine. We usually have a cup of tea from the local stall while we wait for the next delivery to arrive. The market never really stops, and neither do we.
