Taru Mandap Decorators is situated in Yerwada, specifically in Belathur Colony on H M G Basha Galli near Kadugodi. It’s a busy area and the lane can be a bit narrow for the bigger trucks, but we make it work. Our place is more like a warehouse where we keep all the poles, fabrics, and decorative items. It’s always a bit of a mess because we are either packing for an event or unpacking after one. You’ll see piles of colorful cloth and metal frames stacked up against the walls. We spend a lot of time outside on the street loading things up. The neighbors in Belathur Colony are used to us moving stuff around at odd hours. If there’s a big wedding or a festival, we’re barely at the office. We just drop by to grab what we need and head out. The office part is just a small corner with a table and a couple of chairs where we talk to people about what they need for their functions. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don’t have a fancy website or anything, just this physical spot in the galli. It’s a family-style environment where everyone chips in with the heavy lifting. We usually have some rope and tape lying around on every flat surface. Sometimes we find old decorations we forgot we even had in the back.
