We are located over at Lane Number 1 on Airport Road, right in the Yerwada area. The building is number 191, and it is pretty easy to spot once you get into the lane. It is a very busy spot because of all the traffic constantly heading toward the airport, so getting our delivery trucks in and out can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We supply various goods to local businesses and some of the homes nearby. The warehouse part of the building is where we spend the majority of our time. It is not a modern or fancy place, just a functional space with plenty of tall shelves and some old wooden desks for the paperwork. We still write down most of our orders in a big ledger by hand. My cousin helps out with the heavy lifting when we get a large shipment of stock in. We have had this spot for several years now and have grown used to the constant noise of the airplanes flying overhead. Sometimes the dust from the main road gets inside, so we have to spend a lot of time sweeping the floors to keep things presentable. It is not glamorous work, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We try to stay organized so we do not lose track of what is in the back. Usually, we are here from early morning until the sun goes down and the gate gets locked.
