Sylvia Marriage Bureau

Sylvia Marriage Bureau is located right on Harlur Main Road at number 477 in Khadki. We spend most of our time looking through folders and talking to families who stop by. It’s a pretty quiet office for the most part, except when we have a few people in at once. Finding a good match for someone takes a lot of patience and just regular talking to get to know what people are actually looking for. We don't use any fancy computer systems that promise magic; it's mostly just us listening and remembering who might get along with who. People come to us from all over the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in here on the weekends when parents have more time to visit. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now, and we know the Khadki area pretty well. It’s a serious job, helping people find someone to spend their life with, so we try to be careful and honest about what we see. It’s not always easy, and some days are slower than others. We keep the files organized as best as we can, though the drawer sometimes sticks. It’s just the way we work. If you are walking down the main road, you’ll see our sign. We are usually here during the day just doing the paperwork and making sure everything is in order for the next family that walks through the door. We don't mind the long hours because it feels like we're doing something useful.
