Sumit Pan Corner is over in the Dapodi area, specifically at A/1. It’s a bit of a quiet corner compared to the main city, but we still see plenty of action. I started this place because there wasn't much else around this specific block. The shop is quite small, honestly just enough room for me to stand and a couple of stools for friends. We keep the usual things on the shelves. You’ll see the strings of snack packets hanging from the ceiling and the jars of colored candies on the counter. Every morning, I go get the fresh betel leaves from the market. They have to be just right, not too dry. Dapodi is a decent place to work. You get to know the neighbors and the guys who work in the nearby garages. They come in with grease on their hands for a quick smoke or some tobacco. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Just the name on a board outside. The weather affects us a lot; when it's humid, the tobacco gets damp, which is a pain. But we manage. It’s just a regular local shop where we do our work and go home. Nothing more, nothing less. If you are walking through Dapodi A/1, you’ll probably hear our radio playing some old songs while we wait for the next customer.
