Spantek Food Machines

You can find us at No. 5, Amir Terrace, inside the Al Ameen Society in Gultekdi. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it’s not as loud as the main industrial zones, which is nice for a change. Spantek Food Machines is where we spend our days putting together different types of equipment for the food industry. It’s a lot of stainless steel and parts scattered on workbenches. We aren’t a giant factory; it’s more of a workshop feel where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We have some tea in the morning and then get straight to the assembly. Sometimes a part doesn't fit quite right, and we have to spend an hour grinding it down or adjusting the alignment. That’s just part of the job. The society where we’re located is pretty quiet, so we try not to make too much noise late in the evening. We have a few regular clients who drop by just to see how their machines are coming along. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just wipes their hands and goes to see who it is. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it has worked for us for a long time. We just like building machines that work, and we don't feel the need to make a big fuss about it. It’s a steady life and we enjoy the hands-on nature of the work we do.
