Sinhgad College Of Architecture is tucked away at 44/1 in Vadgaon(Budruk). It is an interesting part of town because it feels a bit tucked away from the main rush, though it’s still part of the city. Since it’s an architecture college, you see a lot of students carrying big drawing boards and models made of cardboard or wood. The studios are usually the busiest places on campus. They are often messy with scraps of paper and pencils everywhere, but that’s just how architecture goes. We don't really have a corporate vibe here. It’s more about the work being done on the tables. The building itself has its own character, with some stairs that creak a little and windows that let in a good amount of light for drawing. Vadgaon(Budruk) has its own local feel, and we are just a part of that neighborhood. We have been here for a while, and the locals know us by now. It isn't a place with a lot of fancy slogans. We just provide the space and the tools, and the students spend their hours figured out their designs. Evenings are often just as busy as the mornings because projects take a long time to finish. It’s a practical place for people who like to build things. We just keep the lights on and the doors open. There is always someone working on a model or sketching something out near the window. We just do our job.
