Getting things ready for an event takes a lot more time than people think. We are over here in Rakshak Nagar, Phase No 2, right by the Mundhawa Bypass. It’s a convenient spot because we can get to different parts of the city fairly quickly, though the traffic near Kharadi can be a real headache some days. Our office is usually full of boxes, lists, and half-finished decorations. It’s not always neat, but we know where everything is stored. Planning stuff for people means we are on the phone a lot. We talk to vendors, check on deliveries, and make sure the chairs show up when they are supposed to. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck getting stuck or a color being off, and we just have to fix it on the fly. That is just how the business works. We started Shubh because we liked the buzz of a party coming together. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of workers. It’s a small team here. We drink a lot of tea and stay late most nights when there is a big date coming up. The neighbors in Mulund Colony probably see our lights on at odd hours. We don’t do much fancy talking. We just make sure the work gets done so the day goes off without any major problems. It’s a bit messy, but it’s our life and we enjoy the pace.
