Shriram Gruh Udyog

Our small setup is located right on Bibwewadi Road, near the Buddhdev Naka. Shriram Gruh Udyog is mostly a place where things are made by hand. We have a few big tables and some stoves where we prepare the items. The air usually smells like fried snacks or ground spices, depending on what we are making that morning. We don’t have any fancy machines doing the work; it’s mostly just people sitting together and packing things into plastic bags. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with flour or salt, but we clean it up at the end of every day. Being near Buddhdev Naka means there are always people walking by, and some of them have been buying from us since we first opened. We don't really do much advertising because the word of mouth in Bibwewadi is enough to keep us busy. The hours are long, especially before the holidays when everyone wants snacks for their homes. We often run out of space because the raw materials take up so much room in the back. It’s a bit cramped, and the noise from the road can be a bit much, but it feels like home to us. We just focus on making things the way they should be made, without rushing. The bags are sealed one by one, and we check them ourselves. It is a humble business, and we are quite content with how things go here.
