Dhanlaxmi Sweet

Dhanlaxmi Sweet is located in the Swarganga Commercial Complex, over in Sant Tukaraam Nagar in Pimpri. Our shop is right in the middle of a busy commercial area where people are always rushing to work or running errands. We have glass counters filled with different kinds of sweets that we make throughout the day. The smell of sugar and ghee is always in the air around our shop. It is a small space, but we try to keep it organized so people can see what we have. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that; it’s just the shop floor and a small area in the back for storage. Pimpri is a loud, bustling place, and we get all sorts of customers coming in, from office workers to families living nearby. We spend our time weighing out portions and packing boxes. Sometimes we run out of a certain sweet early in the day, and we just have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s a simple way of living. We aren't trying to change the world, just selling sweets to people who want something nice to eat. We’ve seen the complex change over the years as new shops open and close, but we are still here in our same spot. It’s a lot of standing on our feet, but we like seeing the familiar faces of our regular customers every day.
