We've been here at the Keshav Industrial Estate in Hadapsar for quite some time now. Most people around here know us because of the noise and the lights during the festival season. Setting up a firecracker shop isn't exactly a quiet job, and we spend most of our days moving boxes and making sure everything is stored the right way so nobody gets hurt. It’s a bit of a dusty place, honestly. We have a lot of different types of crackers stacked up on the shelves, from the small ones kids like to the bigger stuff for weddings. Sometimes the traffic in Hadapsar gets really bad, especially near the estate, so getting deliveries in can be a real headache for us. We just try to keep things organized. It's mostly family members working here, so we don't have fancy uniforms or a front desk. You just walk in and tell us what you're looking for. Usually, we're busy sorting through stock or talking to people from the nearby units. It’s not a glamorous business, but it keeps us busy throughout the year, even when it's not Diwali. We know the area well and have seen how much the industrial estate has changed over the years. We’re just a regular local spot where people come to get their stuff and maybe chat for a minute before heading back into the rush of the city. We keep it simple and just do the work.
