Shree Jodhpur Sweets

Shree Jodhpur Sweets is right here at 7A Dhole Patil Road. If you walk down this street, you'll see us pretty easily. We start our work very early in the morning when most people are still asleep because the sweets take time to prepare. The kitchen is always hot from the big stoves and there's usually a lot of steam in the air. We don't have fancy decor or plush seating. It’s mostly glass cases filled with what we made that morning and some basic shelves behind the counter. Dhole Patil Road is a busy place, so we get a lot of people stopping in while they are on their way to other offices or shops. We spend our day weighing out portions and wrapping them in paper boxes. It's a lot of back and forth between the kitchen and the front counter. My uncle started this and we just keep it running the same way he did. We don't see the point in changing the recipes or the way the shop looks. It's a bit cramped when the afternoon rush hits, and we have to move fast to get everyone served. We aren't trying to be a fancy cafe; we are just a sweet shop. The floor gets a bit sticky by the end of the day, but we scrub it down and start all over again the next morning. It’s just how things go for us here at 7A, keeping up with the daily flow.
