Our place is Row House No 2 in Himali So, right next to Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Erandwana. It’s a bit of a different setup since it’s a row house, but it works for us at Shiv Foods Pvt. Ltd. Being so close to the hospital means it’s always busy around here, with people and cars moving at all hours. We have a small kitchen area and some office space upstairs. It’s not a factory; it’s more of a home-base for our operations. We spend a lot of time coordinating things. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it's just someone looking for the hospital entrance, but we don't mind. We’ve been here for a while and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes. It’s a bit lived-in, honestly. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. The parking around Erandwana can be a nightmare, so most of us just use our scooters. We handle the food business in a way that feels personal. We know our suppliers by name and we don’t use any complicated systems. It’s just about getting the food ready and out the door. It’s a simple life in a busy part of the city, and we like the community feel of the row house. We often take our tea breaks out on the small front step when it is not too hot. It is just a regular house where we do our daily work.
