Sheetal Flour Mill

Sheetal Flour Mill is located at Plot No. 1076 on the Chawl Main Road in Yerwada. If you’re looking for us, we are right near the Reliance Fresh Market, which makes us pretty easy to find. The first thing you’ll notice when you get close is the sound of the grinders. It’s a constant hum that we’ve gotten used to over the years. Then there’s the smell of fresh flour in the air, which stays on our clothes all day. We spend most of our time dumping sacks of wheat or bajra into the machines and watching the fine powder come out the other side. It’s a dusty job, and everything in the shop has a thin layer of white on it, no matter how much we clean. People from the local chawls and the nearby apartments bring their grain to us because they know we do it right. We don't have a fancy storefront. It’s just the machines, the weighing scale, and the sacks piled up in the corner. Sometimes the line gets long, especially before the holidays when everyone is making special bread at home. We just keep the machines running and chat with the customers while they wait. It’s a busy life on the Main Road, but we like being a part of the daily routine for the folks in Yerwada. We just keep our heads down and make sure the flour is ground just right.
