Saudamini Tours & Travels

Saudamini Tours & Travels is located right in Vallabhnagar Society in Rajendran Nagar. It’s more of a residential area, so it’s usually quiet until the school buses start moving in the morning. I started this business from my home basically. We have a small cabin near the entrance of the society where I sit and wait for customers. My wife helps me with the phone calls in the afternoon when I have to go out. We have four cars right now. Most of our work comes from the families living right here in Rajendran Nagar. They know us and they trust our drivers to get them home safe. It’s nice because I don't have to spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just talk to people. Sometimes we take groups to the coast for a holiday, and those are the busy times for us. I have to make sure the tires are good and the AC is working before every long trip. It’s a lot of maintenance work that people don’t see. I like the independence of it. We aren't a huge company, just a local family trying to help folks get where they need to go. Sometimes we have a coffee together with the drivers before they head out for the day. It makes the work feel less like work. We just take things one day at a time and keep moving.
