J. P. Travels Tourism

You’ll find J. P. Travels Tourism on the ground floor of Rama Arcade. We are right on the main road at Rahatani Phata in Kalevadi. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in off the street. The traffic outside is constant, and there’s always the sound of horns and buses. Inside, we have a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about their travel plans. We have racks with some older brochures and maps of different places. We spend most of the day on the phone or on the computer checking bus timings and hotel prices. It’s a busy little office. People come in to book a quick trip to see family or maybe a longer holiday. We try to keep things organized, but there are always papers and registers lying around. The door opens and closes all day, bringing in the dust from the main road. It’s a very local feel here. We know the other shop owners in Rama Arcade and we usually grab tea from the stall nearby. We don't do anything fancy. We just listen to where you want to go and try to find a way to get you there that fits what you can spend. It’s a simple business, built on talking to people and helping them navigate their travels without any big fuss or complicated processes.
