Satguru Foods

You can find us at No-1, Bhagayasila Society on Nibm Road. Being the first unit in the society makes it easy for the delivery drivers to spot us. We handle all kinds of food products here at Satguru Foods. The space is mostly filled with metal shelves and large plastic bins. It stays relatively cool inside because of the way the building is situated, which is good for keeping the stock fresh. Nibm Road has changed a lot lately with more cars and people around, but our corner stays fairly quiet. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure everything is put away in the right spot. There is a small sink in the back where we wash up, and a table where we sit to have our lunch together. We don't have fancy office chairs, just some plastic ones that have seen better days. The walls are painted a plain cream color and we have a calendar hanging near the door to keep track of the delivery dates. We usually start around nine in the morning and stay until the sun goes down behind the other buildings in the society. It is just a few of us working here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from lifting heavy crates to writing out the receipts. We don't do much in the way of decorating because we need every inch of space for the inventory. It's just a regular food business run by local people.
