We are located in Shivane at the Mangal Group Society number 81/2. Our work involves dealing with food products. It is a lot of packaging and checking different batches throughout the day. The air inside usually smells like whatever we are processing at that moment. Sometimes it is pungent spices and other times it is just grains. We have a few machines that hum all day long. It is not a huge factory but it is a decent space where we can get our work done properly. We started this because we wanted to do something local in the area. Most of our workers live right around the corner from the society. We spend a lot of time making sure the bags are sealed up tight. If a machine breaks down we usually spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone like that. We just sell what we make to the various shops around Pune. Sometimes the supply of raw materials from the farms is a bit slow so we have to adjust our schedule. The office part is just a small table with a phone and a bunch of files. We drink a lot of tea while we work to keep going. It is a family-run kind of vibe. We try to keep the place clean which is hard with food items. We just do the daily work.
