Samrudh Jeevan Foods (India) Ltd

Our place is located at 576/2/B on D P Road in Shivaji Nagar. Samrudh Jeevan Foods (India) Ltd is the name on the door, and we’ve been here for a while. It’s a busy part of town, and the traffic on D P Road is something we deal with every morning and evening. Inside, it’s mostly about coordinating where the food products are going and making sure the records are right. We aren't a supermarket where you walk in and browse the aisles. It’s more of a hub for our operations. We have people coming in and out, delivery guys checking their schedules, and a lot of phone calls about stock levels. The office is often full of papers and ledgers because we still like to keep track of things the old way. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird noise, and the tea guy is usually late, but we manage. Shivaji Nagar is a good spot because it’s central, though finding parking near the building is a nightmare. We’ve got a small break area where we keep a kettle, but it’s usually buried under a stack of delivery notes. The road traffic is so loud that we keep the windows shut most of the time, which makes it a bit stuffy. We’ve been thinking about getting a new sign for the front because the sun has faded the old one so much you can barely read the name anymore. It’s just one of those things.
