Sakas Foods

Sakas Foods is located in Erandwane, specifically at 15 A/4. We make various food products here. It’s a small operation. Most of the time, the place smells like spices or fried snacks. We have a small staff of about five people. We do everything by hand mostly. There is a big table where we pack the items into bags. It’s a bit cramped in here when we have a big order. We started this because we liked cooking. We didn't really have a big plan. The address 15 A/4 is just a small building on a side street. It’s quiet compared to the main road. We have a delivery van that is quite old and sometimes doesn't start in the morning. We don't have a fancy showroom. People just come to the door to buy what they need. We keep a ledger of all the sales. The floor is always being swept because of the flour and spices. We have a small radio that plays old songs while we work. It’s a decent way to spend the day. We don't do any social media or stuff like that. We just make the food and hope people like it. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. It’s a simple business in a nice part of Pune. We just keep our heads down and work.
