We are located at 14/1 in the Aakar Flats, which sits in the Byramji Town area of Nagpur. Being part of the Sakal Group Of Publication means there is always something happening, even if our specific spot here is a bit more contained. Nagpur gets incredibly hot in the summer months, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans and coolers are working right. The building itself is an older residential style structure, which gives it a different feel compared to the big glass offices you see in other cities. We deal with various aspects of the publication and there are usually stacks of papers and folders everywhere you look. Byramji Town is a decent neighborhood, fairly central, so it is easy for people to get to us. The work can be quite demanding because news and publications don't really wait for anyone. We have people coming in and out at different times of the day depending on what needs to be printed or distributed. It is a noisy place sometimes with the machines and the talking, but that is just how it is in this industry. We don't have fancy furniture or a modern lobby. It is just a practical space where the work gets done by people who have lived in Nagpur for most of their lives. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks that keep the group moving.
