Sakaal Media Group

Sakaal Media Group is based in Mehta Towers over in Kirkee, Pune. We are specifically on the second floor in the B Wing, room 201. Kirkee is a busy part of town, especially with the railway station nearby. Our office is a busy place too. We have people coming in and out all day long. It’s a media environment, so there’s always something happening. Mehta Towers is a decent building. It’s not brand new, but it serves our purpose. We have our desks set up and we just get on with the news and other media tasks. Pune 411003 is the area code. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. The walls are mostly covered with papers and calendars. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We have a mix of younger staff and people who have been here for years. Everyone just does their bit. Sometimes we have a lot of tea and talk about what’s going on in the city. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don't have a corporate handbook that tells us how to talk. We just act like normal people and do the work that needs to be done. It’s been our home for quite a while now and we are used to the rhythm of Kirkee. The view from the B Wing isn't much, but we aren't here for the view anyway. We just stay focused on the day's stories and the people around us.
