Sai Mandap Decorators

We operate Sai Mandap Decorators right off National Highway No 8 in Hadapsar. Most of our work is out in the field at different venues, but this is where we keep all the poles, fabric, and lights. It’s a big warehouse-style space. It gets very dusty with all the trucks driving by on the highway. We’ve been doing this for several years. Wedding seasons are the busiest times. We hardly get any sleep then. We’re always loading and unloading trucks. The fabrics need to be washed and folded, which takes a lot of time. Sometimes things get torn or stained, and we have to fix them. I have a team of guys who handle the heavy lifting and the climbing. It’s dangerous work sometimes, especially when we’re putting up high structures in the wind. I spend most of my time coordinating where everyone needs to be. I don't have a fancy office. Just a desk tucked in a corner between the stacks of chairs. We don't do big advertisements. Most people hear about us from their relatives or friends. It’s a tough business with a lot of physical labor, but seeing a decorated hall looks nice when it’s all finished. It takes a lot of patience to deal with all the different requests people have. We just try to get it done on time for the event no matter what happens.
