Sahyadri Valley College Of Engineering And Technology

This college is located out in Rajuri, near Alephata, which is quite a way from the main city of Pune. We are tucked away in the 412411 area, surrounded by a lot of open land and some hills in the distance. It is an engineering college, so we have quite a few buildings for the different labs and the classrooms. Because we are so far out, many of the students and some of the staff stay in the hostels on the grounds. The place is usually quiet, except for the sound of students walking between blocks or the occasional machine running in the workshop. We have a library that stays open late and a canteen that serves basic meals to everyone. The furniture in the classrooms is practical and has seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our time going through the technical syllabus and helping students with their practical exams. It is not a place with a lot of glamour or big events. We just focus on the work that needs to be done. The weather out here can be a bit extreme, with hot summers and a lot of wind during the rainy season. We have some trees around the campus to provide a bit of shade, but it is still a very open place. We are just a group of educators and students working together in a rural part of the district to get through the engineering degree.
