We are based out of Office No. 1 in Madhavi Apts, which is part of Vijaynagar Colony. It’s located in Sadashiv Peith, just off Tilak Road. This part of town has a lot of history and the buildings are quite close together. Our office is a bit small, but it’s enough for the few of us who work here. We deal with a lot of technical specifications and paperwork. There are files stacked up in various corners. It’s not the most modern-looking place, but it serves its purpose. We like being in Sadashiv Peith because everything is nearby. You can walk to get whatever you need. The colony is usually quiet, which is good for focusing on the work. We get a few visitors now and then, mostly people we’ve known for years. It isn't a place with a fancy reception desk. You just walk in and we are right there. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just part of life here. The floor creaks a little in one corner near the window. We mostly ignore it now. It’s just part of the character of these older buildings. We’ve spent many years in this office. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. We are usually too busy sorting through things. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't try to be anything we aren't.
