Rice Traders

We are located at 403, Tse, in the Pimpri Saudagar area. It’s more of a warehouse and office space than anything else. We have stacks of rice bags piled high against the walls, reaching almost to the ceiling. The floor is made of smooth cement which makes it easier to slide the bags around when we are organizing a shipment. Pimpri Saudagar is a busy place, and there is always some construction or traffic noise filtering in through the windows. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking the weights on the scales. The desk is cluttered with receipts and small samples of grain in glass jars. It gets a bit cramped when a new delivery comes in, but we make do with the space we have. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and sometimes we just stand there for a minute to watch the world go by. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the business and how to handle the stock. The lighting is just basic fluorescent strips that hum a little bit if you listen closely. It’s a straightforward operation. We don't go in for anything complicated. We just track the rice, talk to the transporters, and keep the books straight. It’s just how we spend our hours at 403 Tse.
