Ribbons & Roses

Ribbons & Roses is located right near Hutching School on Phyre Road in Camp. It is a small shop, and we spend most of our mornings getting everything ready for the day. Being near the school means there is always a bit of noise and activity outside, which we actually quite enjoy. We have been at 11 Phyre Road for quite some time now. It’s a cozy space, maybe a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we make it work. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the Camp area or parents dropping their kids off nearby. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just us handling the orders and talking to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the floors get a bit messy with leaves or bits of paper, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with your hands all day. We keep a notebook for all our bookings because the computer sometimes acts up. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us so far. We see a lot of different people every day, each with their own little story or reason for stopping by. It makes the hours go by fast. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one where you know who you’re talking to. The neighborhood has a lot of history, and we’re glad to be a small part of it. It’s our little corner of the city.
