Raj Infrastructure Development (I) Pvt. Ltd. is located over in Vadgaon Budruk, right on Sinhagad Road. If you know Pune, you know that the traffic on this road can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour, but we are used to it. Our office is in the Sai Co-Op Housing Society, specifically Flat No. 1. It’s a bit unusual being in a residential society, but it gives the place a quiet, homey feel compared to a big commercial tower. We are right across from Abhiruchi Garden, which is a nice landmark to give people when they are trying to find us. Dealing with infrastructure means we are often looking at blueprints or talking about construction materials and site schedules. The office is usually filled with the sound of fans and people talking on their mobiles to site supervisors. We have a few old desks and some chairs that have seen better days, but they serve the purpose just fine. It’s a busy life here, especially with the city growing so fast around us. We see a lot of people coming in to talk about development projects or to sort out society paperwork. We usually keep a kettle going for tea throughout the afternoon to keep everyone moving. It is just a regular office where we handle the gritty details of infrastructure work. We don’t bother with much decoration; we just focus on the projects we have on our plates.
